Industrial replenishment from recorded stock
SoonSet minimums by SKU and location to raise alerts or prepare draft requests for supplies and spare parts. This is not MRP planning or autonomous purchasing.
How Makinari helps Industrial replenishment from recorded stock
Local implementation, pending deployment and environment validation. A manufacturer or spare-parts distributor needs to identify supplies whose recorded stock has reached its minimum. Each rule uses an active inventory-tracked, procurement-enabled SKU, a location, minimum, target, minimum purchase quantity and multiple in catalog units. Evaluation uses recorded stock, not projected availability, reservations, production orders or bills of materials.
A rule can record an in-app alert or create a draft request. An open incident and outstanding demand can block another generation to prevent duplicates; staff must reconcile existing requests and orders before resolving an incident. Requests are not submitted for approval and sourcing events, awards, orders and payments are not created automatically. Periodic execution requires migrations, deployed application code, a worker secret and an external scheduler; saving a rule does not install that service. Stock-posting goods receipts, automatic supplier-unit conversion and automatic preferred-supplier selection are not provided.
Key Workflows
- Validate recorded inventory and SKU procurement eligibility; set minimum, target and multiple by location in catalog units.
- Run a stock check or configure the authorized worker; review alerts, drafts and blocks caused by outstanding demand.
- Review and submit the draft through human approval, reconcile demand and resolve the incident with a reason without implicitly canceling the request.
Potential operational benefits
Visible replenishment needs and reviewable drafts based on recorded stock, without treating estimates as available inventory or replacing industrial planning.
Results depend on your process, data quality and configuration.
